Invincible is a critically acclaimed superhero franchise written by writer Robert Kirkman and drawn by Cory Walker, with artist Ryan Ottley contributing to the majority of the comic series. Invincible was launched as a comic book in 2003 and soon became known for the unique combination of classic superhero storyline, emotional development of characters and action-filled plot. The story follows Mark Grayson, an average teenage boy, who learns that he has inherited superpowers from his father Omni-Man, who is supposed to be the most powerful superhero on the planet. The boy becomes Invincible, and soon discovers that being a superhero is more difficult than he ever thought, with a host of powerful enemies, difficult choices, and startling revelations about the world around him. The animated television series Invincible was even more popular because of its production due to the accurate representation of the comic book, stunning animation, great cast of voice actors and deeply emotional story line. The franchise was known for its combination of touching moments in the characters’ lives, action-packed battles, and unexpected twists of fate.
